Using a unique algorithm, not available to the internet community, Information Inventor is able to extract greater predictive content than mainstream applications - using the same source data fields. Our secret lies in our ability to position accounts very accurately. Each account is represented by a point in a multidimensional space, with dimensions consisting of source data fields, account-centric attributes and our own derived dimensions and indicators. "Account versus account" differentiation benefits from this approach, and our ability to differentiate using behavioural categoricals - which we believe to be unique - as well as binary flags and metrics.

Once accounts are correctly plotted, a burrowing technique is applied to locate densely populated areas (or clusters), drilling outwards from the centre of each cluster until a skin can be formed at the cluster boundary; the area where specific (target pattern) cluster behaviours merge into general non-behaviourally significant accounts.

This is a two-stage process, where accurate characterisations or predictions depend heavily on the primary stage - plotting account behaviours accurately.
