Information Inventor and QueryObject form a unique partnership delivering robust and scaleable business intelligence with a firm emphasis on low ongoing maintenance, ease of deployment and standard architectures.
Business Intelligence is a relatively new discipline, where leading edge technologies can deliver huge business benefit. But often, technical input into product selection and deployment is overlooked "in the heat of battle" as business users strive to find competitive edge.
In many cases, this can lead to failed projects and a huge unplanned burden on existing IS/IT Operations resource.
If you could choose a specialist partner to help your business with intelligence projects, you would choose products and services from Oceans Blue. Why ?
We offer exciting technology that delivers, and delivers robustly. Where data volumes are extremely high (trillions of records), we're at our best. We know that firefighting new installation errors is the very last thing you want to do. Our products mesh with standard corporate IT infrastructures and can be hosted on Microsoft, HP and Sun operating systems and integrate with all major corporate data sources - combining these into a single holistic databus for easy extraction.
We offer a full-service solution covering the following areas and can add consultancy or project management resource to your team where you feel you need it most:| Information Inventor | Competitive Products | |
| low requirement for internal IS resource to support project | yes | no |
| able to pull in data from all discrete company databases | yes | no |
| intelligent, wizard-like approach to configuration | yes | no |
| model is self-learning, so cost of ownership is low | yes | no |
| highest accuracy, lowest "false positives" gearing | yes | no |
| plug in modules covering all facets of business intelligence | yes | no |
Note : Interestingly, the unique technology found in QueryObject was derived from a US Defence Agency-funded project researching a new kind of multidimensional, fractally compressed database that would offer a very small footprint together with ultra-fast access to TERCOM (Terrain Contour Matching) information for Raytheon's Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) internal guidance systems.
Note : Also, reasonably interestingly, initial development for Information Inventor was funded by an European Commission development grant covering 12 man years of research into a paradigm-breaking data mining application, that could extract more predictive information from the same data source, than any other technology. The techniques delivered from this project are embedded within Information Inventor today, and remain proprietary and unlicensed elsewhere.
